Two weeks in late Feb/early March 2016. We love the rainy season as the parks are pretty much devoid of other humans, the bush is lush and emerald green, and the game-viewing is excellent. There can be a bit of mud though.
Roland and I spent week 1 in Nxai, Savuti and Moremi. Big, dark skies, some interesting roads to navigate, wild dogs and a several thousand zebra. We scooped up Dave & Oren in Maun, and entered the Central Kalahari via the NW corner at Tsau. Our route took us through Motopi (cauliflower, chickpeas, cheetah), Sunday (fat-eared boxes), Piper (silence, frogs, good coffee, lank lion, stranded Belgians and some pretty heavy downpours), Deception (garlic, spotted eagle owls), then out through Matswere in the east.
